Successfully shipped 14,400 pieces of sponges to Australian customers

On April 23, 2024, we welcomed a special Australia customer. This customer bought for the first time and only bought some samples. Although the price of this sample was not high, the air freight cost was high. However, this customer paid the fee without hesitation, which made us think that he might be a valuable potential big customer.
We quickly arranged the shipment of the samples, however, unexpectedly, the logistics company reported that the goods had arrived in Australia, but the buyer could not be contacted. We immediately tried to contact the customer and learned that he was in Dubai before and failed to answer the phone. Now he is back in Australia and can arrange delivery. Considering the high cost of re-delivery abroad, we decided to pay more than $50 in shipping again and told the customer that we had paid this fee for him and asked him to pay attention to receiving the samples.
However, in the next two months, we did not receive any feedback on the samples. Despite our repeated inquiries, we never received a response. We began to doubt whether this customer was really valuable. However, just when we almost gave up hope, this customer suddenly came back and placed a large order-14,400 sponges! This order made us very surprised and excited. What's even more gratifying is that he also asked us to help load some things from other suppliers. Although we could have charged a higher shipping fee, we still helped at a price of $100.

Looking back on this transaction, we deeply realized that when facing real big customers, they can feel it if you are generous. Human emotions are interlinked. What we need to do is to accurately identify real big customers, not those who just want to take advantage. This experience also reminds us that we must be sincere and patient with every customer, because you never know which customer will become your big customer.
